Michael Vick

There's been so much written and said about Vick. Last night's Monday Night Football should have been identified as a special Michael Vick edition, they talked so much about the guy. This morning at the gym, it was all the rage too. So, with so much already said about how terrible it was to abuse those dogs, there might not be too much left to say. But, I've noticed that the Christian perspective is kind of absent from this discussion. So, here are a few of my random thoughts on Michael. As they pop out of my head.

Forgiveness must be accompanied by restitution.

There but by the grace of God go I. (The Bible says our hearts are exceedlingly wicked.)

What if it had been cats? No further comment.

This kind of abuse happens to about 3000 unborn babies a day (drowning in saline solutions, strangling, ripping apart, suctioning). Where's the outcry?

Enough piling on.

I hope his conversion to Jesus was real. There's more than a career at stake here.

For Him and for you,
Rick
